Queries View

This view displays all the SQL queries that are being executed or have been executed by the CData Virtuality Server.

For each query, its SQL statement, the starting time, the execution state (finished or failed) and the issuer of the query are displayed. Not only the queries that belong to Jobs are displayed but also SQL queries that are issued directly or by a BI Tool.

Text filtering

You can enter text in the text bar at the top of the table to be used as a filter. Only those Queries containing the entered text in the "SQL query" field will be displayed.

Column filtering

The column filtering can be accessed by right-clicking a particular column. Depending on the data type of the column, different filtering options will be shown and can be selected by clicking on them. Some column filters also contain a text filter that can be used to display only the rows that contain the entered text. Multiple columns can have an active filter simultaneously, in which case only rows that match the criteria of all filters will be displayed.

Right-click on a query to

• Kill query: this will kill a query. And this menu item will be enabled only if the query is in RUNNING state.
• Kill session: this will kill the session of a particular query. If there are any other queries which are under the same session that is being killed and are in one of the states ("RUNNING", "PARSING", "FETCHING"), a pop-up question window will be shown asking for the confirmation. If 'Yes' is chosen, the queries listed in the popup along with the selected query (if it is on in one of the states ("RUNNING", "PARSING", "FETCHING")), will be interrupted. Otherwise, the session will not be killed.
